Can You Spot Reduce Fat? The Answer Is Yes

Scientific research has proven that spot reduction can in fact occur when addressing the hormonal imbalances that contribute to fat storage at a specific site on the body. This is based on over 35 years evidence. There was a U.S government funded study which was conducted by my mentor and strength coach Charles Poliquin. It allows for an accurate identification of hormonal, lifestyle and nutritional issues that are unique to the person tested, and enables us to provide individualized solutions. Inpower Fitness uses this also as a basis to find the best exercises that will get results while being able to prescribe the correct intensity, sets, reps and rest periods based off your hormonal imbalance results. It's unlike no other place on the planet.

The 5 determining factors that come up in the test are

1.Insulin

2. Gynoid

3. Toxicity

4. Recovery

5. Android

Chin - wellness indicator & will often be the first sites to drop with positives change

Cheek- Another wellness indicator & will often be the first sites to drop with positives change I have also found that reducing (or removing) caffeine consumption can have a massive impact upon the cheek measure due to its over stimulation of the adrenals.

Pec- linked to testosterone. Women will have naturally higher readings in these areas, however, that's not to say that it's an area that can't be positively impacted by strength training to boost testosterone & a reduction on alcohol consumption to limit its estrogenic affect on the body. The impact of alcohol is often seen in the form of "man boobs" in guys who drink large amounts.

Biceps- Same as Pec. We use this to help with a clearer calculation of testosterone levels and high estrogenic effects on the body. It also helps determines how well your body uses androgens

Triceps- Another site for testosterone. It will more accurately determine total and free testosterone

Subscapular- is a brilliant indicator of your tolerance to carbohydrates. If this reading is greater than 10, you should be taking steps to improve your bodies response to insulin by doing a protocol to improve this such as two weeks with no carbs.

Mid Auxiliary- The consumption of inflammatory foods will impact the fat stored in this area and also relates to Thyroid function.

Supra-illiac- how well you control morning insulin and glucose response

The Australian- Amusingly this site the lower back "love handles" are indicative of poor gut health and insulin sensitivity. The introduction of probiotic foods such as kimchi, sauerkraut & yoghurts can have a positive impact in these areas.

The Umbilical- Extended periods of elevated cortisol can impact the fat held on the belly which is commonly incorrectly associated with food. Stress is the major cause of fat being held in this area & that can be stress from any area, training, lifestyle, caffeine, work, family life etc. Whilst utilising carbohydrates & supplements, such as glutamine amongst others that we prescribe, this helps to reduce cortisol post training & can be helpful when working with athletes. Also a reduction of stress can be key to reducing fat in this area for the general population. Meditation, Yoga, Wim Hof breathe exercises can all have a positive impact on getting a lean mid-section.

Calf- Relates to toxicity due to environmental pollutants. Can also be an indication of lack of recovery or sleep. Do you even like your cankles

Knee- Indicates liver toxicity

Quads- Relates to elevated estrogen. These are crucial in knowing and will help determine the correct form of exercise that will get best results. Any excess testosterone that you produce while training will convert to estrogen and make you fatter. It can become increasingly worse if this problem is not addressed with the correct supplementation and training protocol.

Hamstrings- Another site commonly shows up as the priority area, as its relates to the balance of estrogens in the body. Quads are linked to estrogens produced by the body, however hamstrings related to external estrogens that the body is unable to clear from its system. External estrogens are the toxins from everyday modern life such as chemicals in beauty products, fluoride & chlorine in our drinking & tap water, additives in our food and the list could go on & on. Actively reducing the consumption of these stressors on the body will reduce fat on the hamstrings supported by a good super greens product & fibre supplement to pull toxins from the body. I have found that this is the most common site affected by the pollution and chemicals for people in Australia. Probably one of the most highly sort after supplemental protocols sought after with my clients, especially in women. With the correct protocols you can see great results within weeks.

As you can see, all of this information is crucial for knowing lifestyle, nutrition and exercise changes that need to be made. For example, CrossFit, spin classes or high intensity exercise that destroys the nervous system will not be ideal for someone who carries fat around the midsection and thighs causing even more adrenal stress than they are already under.

Make Your Coffee Rich, Creamy, AND Sugar Free

https://ezinearticles.com/?Make-Your-Coffee-Rich,-Creamy,-AND-Sugar-Free&id=10216495
A sugar-free coffee creamer should not only be about weight loss. Going sugar-free with natural ingredients has many other benefits including boosting your energy level and preventing serious diseases like diabetes.
Medical professionals have been warning us for decades that we consume too much sugar. The Standard American Diet (SAD) is put into perspective by the fact that more than two-thirds of all adults and nearly one-third of all children in the United States are either overweight or obese (Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion).
There truly is such a thing as a healthy sugar-free coffee creamer.
Sugar-Free Coffee Creamer
The mega food industry has learned to mass-market foods by implying they are healthy when they are not. That is why nutritionists are always encouraging people to read the ingredient list on packaged food items instead of relying on the bright marketing labels shouting "Sugar-Free" without mentioning all of the unhealthy additives that go into processed foods.
Additives and unhealthy ingredients that are not found in a healthy sugar-free coffee creamer include:
• Artificial colors
• Artificial flavors
• High fructose corn syrup
• Hydrogenated soybean oils
• Transfats
• Dairy or Lactose
• Gluten
Your better coffee creamer alternative begins with a natural coconut oil base enhanced with an all-natural blend of Citrus Aurantium Extract, Hoodia, and Green Tea Extract. All of these promote weight loss through a faster metabolism and natural appetite suppression. Varieties come in natural flavors like vanilla, hazelnut, pumpkin, and others.
Sugar Related Diseases
The massive addition of sugar to our foods has repeatedly been traced to the most serious health epidemics such as heart disease and diabetes that our society faces today.
Accordingly to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), it is estimated that:
• 30.3 million Americans have diabetes.
• 84.1 million Americans are prediabetic.
• 7.2 million American adults have undiagnosed diabetes
Sugar is added to everything from breakfast cereal to spaghetti sauce. Sugar in beverages has proven repeatedly as the top villain. But chemical substitutes for sugar are not the answer. A metabolism-boosting coffee creamer with natural ingredients is what belongs in your coffee and diet.
As we all know, coffee itself stimulates your metabolism. But processed sugar only gives you a quick energy peak that fades away just as fast. The goal is to maintain your metabolic rate high all day to burn more calories whether you are exercising or sitting behind a desk.
A healthy alternative coffee creamer supporting your health goals does not contain chemical additives to enhance the taste. Rich, creamy, and metabolism-boosting sugar-free coffee creamer is made with all-natural ingredients. You'll be healthier, lose weight, and have more energy than ever.

5 Ways to Get a Flat Stomach

It can be difficult for you to get a flat stomach. Apart from being a risk factor for a lot of diseases, belly fat may cause bloating as well. Fortunately, you can use a lot of strategies in order to reduce your waist size. This article is going to give you a few effective methods that can help you get a flat stomach. Read on to know more.
1. Cut Calories
If you want to lose weight, the first most important thing is to cut down on your caloric intake. According to an ideal approach, you may want to remove at least 500 calories from your daily meals to lose around 1 pound per week.
However, keep in mind that reducing too many calories can be counterproductive. When you eat too few calories, it may have a negative impact on your metabolism. As a result, you may not be able to burn your desired number of calories.
2. Eat Soluble Fiber
Basically, soluble fiber can absorb a lot of water, in addition, to slow down the flow of food in your digestive tract. As a result, you will find it harder to empty your stomach. Your stomach will expand and you will stay full for a much longer period.
Aside from this, soluble fiber can cut down on the number of calories you can absorb from your meals. If you take soluble fiber, you will not end up with a lot of fat around your major organs and you will also be less likely to suffer from diseases.
If you want to get soluble fiber, you can opt for blackberries, sprouts, Brussels, legumes, avocados, flaxseeds, and oats, to name a few.
3. Consume Probiotics
These are live bacteria that play a great role in helping you lose weight. If you are obese, you may not have normal gut bacteria composition, unlike thin people. This may have a negative impact on your fat distribution and weight gain.
With regular consumption of probiotics, you can encourage the growth of gut flora and reduce your risk of unhealthy weight gain. To get probiotics, you can consume pickles, kimchi, tempeh, kefir, and yogurt. Alternatively, you can try probiotics supplements as well.
4. Do Cardio Exercises
If you engage in aerobic exercises or cardio, you can improve your health and burn a lot of calories at the same time. Aside from this, many studies have found that these physical activities can empower your midsection and reduce your belly fat.
According to most studies, you should do at least 150 minutes of aerobic exercise in 7 days. Some good cardio exercises include rowing, biking, brisk walking and running.
5. Go for Protein Shakes
If you want to add protein to your daily meals, you can go for protein shakes. This can help you boost your metabolic rate, reduce appetite and help with your weight-loss efforts.
In short, if you have been looking for ways to slim down your stomach, we suggest that you check out the 5 methods listed above. They can help you get rid of those extra pounds.

Healthy Eating - Simple Tips To Improve Your Digestive System

Are you suffering from gas? Bloating? Constipation? Stomach upset? Gastrointestinal issues are all too common and unfortunately can get you down. Luckily, there are some simple tips you can use to help get your digestive system in better order and help you feel well again.
The digestive system is a group of organs working together to convert food into energy and essential nutrients and feeds the whole body.
Let us look at what these tips are so you can begin to implement them in your day...
1. Add A Probiotic. Perhaps the single best thing you can do to help improve your digestive system is to add a probiotic to the picture. Probiotics are great for helping to not only enhance the digestive process but also strengthen your immune system.
Most people are not getting sufficient levels of probiotics in their eating plan, so adding one is a super fire way to change that.
2. Sip Warm Water. You might also consider sipping a glass of warm water during your meal. Sipping water while eating can help your digestive system relax a little and will also assist with the breakdown of the food you eat.
Don't drink too much water though: too much may make digestion difficult, and this could leave you feeling bloated.
3. Stress Less. Stress is one of the worst things you could do if you hope to keep your digestive system feeling its best. When you are stressed, the sympathetic nervous system is ruling over your body. When your body is trying to digest food, the parasympathetic system is the one that needs to be in control.
Both systems cannot be working at the same time consequently this creates strain over your entire body. So before you eat your next meal, consider doing some deep breathing to calm yourself down.
4. Eat Slowly. Slowly chewing your food is also a good trick to help give your digestive system a boost. Your digestive system can only handle so much food at a time, so if you attempt to gulp your meal, you are going to feel the effects shortly after you finally do stop eating.
Eating slowly gives you the chance to listen to your body's internal signals on when it is time to stop eating, so this might also help you lose weight.
5. Chew Your Food. Finally, it should go without saying but make sure you chew your food thoroughly. Too many people rush when they eat and only chew their food partway. As this is the first step in the digestion process, the more you break food down, the less work it will be for the rest of your digestive system.
Take a little extra time and chew your food; you will be doing your body a big favor. Keep these tips in mind and put those digestive problems behind you.
Although managing your disease can be very challenging, Type 2 diabetes is not a condition you must just live with. You can make simple changes to your daily routine and lower both your weight and your blood sugar levels. Hang in there, the longer you do it, the easier it gets.
For nearly 25 years Beverleigh Piepers has searched for and found a number of secrets to help you build a healthy body. Go to http://DrugFreeType2Diabetes.com to learn about some of those secrets.
The answer isn't in the endless volumes of available information but in yourself.

Can A Healthy Lifestyle Help Your Back

Back pain is the leading cause of disability in the United Kingdom, affecting almost 1 in 10 people. Suffering from back pain can be debilitating and have a significant impact on your work and social life. But did you know that making some simple lifestyle changes can reduce the amount of back pain you experience?
A recent study from researchers in Sweden found that people who lived a healthy lifestyle were much less likely to develop chronic back problems. This article will explain why healthy living can have a positive effect on your back.
What is a healthy lifestyle?
A healthy lifestyle is living in a way that maximises your health, energy levels and physical capacity. The five main components of healthy living include:
  1. Eating a nutritious diet Enjoying a healthy and balanced diet ensures that your body has the energy and nutrients it requires to remain healthy.
  2. Exercising regularly Adults should aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity a week (half that if exercising at a high intensity). You should also perform some strength training for all major muscle groups each week. This ensures that your muscles, ligaments, bones, and cardiovascular system remain healthy.
  3. Managing your weight A healthy lifestyle includes staying at a healthy weight through diet and exercise.
  4. Managing your stress levels Being stressed can have a dramatic impact on your body, increasing your blood sugar levels, causing anxiety, and slowing your metabolism. Finding ways to manage stress is an important part of enjoying a healthy lifestyle.
  5. Getting enough sleep The body uses sleep to heal the body, regulate hormones, remove toxins, and much more. Sleep is an important part of remaining healthy and happy.
How will living a healthy lifestyle help your back?
Not only will living a healthy lifestyle give you more energy, improve the quality of your life, and help you live longer - it also can help you avoid back pain. Here is how:
Better core strength to support your back
Exercising regularly will ensure that the muscles in the abdomen and lower back are well-developed. Keeping these muscles strong will help to take some strain off your spine and provide it with support. You will be less likely to injure or strain your back and there will be less pressure on it each day.
Better posture
Being active and physically fit will also help you improve your posture. It will become easier to keep your spine straight when sitting, walking and running, which helps you avoid back pain.
Less weight means a healthier back
The United Kingdom is still going through an obesity epidemic with over 62% of adults being overweight or obese. Unfortunately, carrying all of this extra weight can contribute to back pain and change the alignment of your spine. Living a healthy lifestyle helps you avoid obesity and remain in a weight range that is appropriate for your age, gender, and height.
Spending less time sitting down
Sitting down for long periods is one of the major risk factors for back pain and lumbar disorders. Essentially, the more time you spend sitting down, the more likely it is that you will have back pain. Living a healthy lifestyle helps because it is a more active lifestyle. You will spend less time sitting down in front of the computer or television, and more time moving about.
Your spine will have the nutrients it needs
The human spine requires many nutrients to grow new tissue and repair itself including vitamin D, calcium, magnesium, Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Vitamin B12, Iron, and protein. Eating a healthy and nutritious diet ensures that your spine has all these important nutrients.
Less risk of degenerative spinal injuries
A healthy lifestyle is one that avoids cigarettes and excessive alcohol consumption. This can help you avoid certain illnesses and injuries. For example, researchers have discovered that smoking can increase the risk of degenerative disc disease and lower back pain. Other research has shown that people who drink excessively are more likely to injure their back.
More likely to get professional help
Having a healthy lifestyle makes a person more health conscious and more likely to see a medical professional if something is wrong. This means you won't hesitate to see a chiropractor or general practitioner if your back hurts - which helps you identify and treat a spinal injury or other back problem before it becomes worse.
Dr Robert Finn D.C. qualified as a chiropractor over 25 years ago from the Anglo European College of Chiropractors (the oldest and largest chiropractic college in Europe). He is passionate about chiropractic and helping his patients reach their health goals. He has clinics in Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent. One way in which meditation may help with weight loss

Meditation is a practice that has been used for centuries to promote mental and emotional well-being. However, recent research has suggested...
